The Buffalo Hunt...
The Buffalo Hunt project is a fundraising venture to benefit the CM Russell Museum in Great Falls, Mont. Tim was chosen as one of 26 artists to embellish these life-size buffalo replicas. The painting re-creates a Russell illustration in which an Indian is painting pictographs. The paintings transform into real buffalo that go over the top of the large animal and are forced over a buffalo jump. The carved buffalo seem suspended in air as they fall. The painting-turned-sculpture is an amazing depiction of an historical event that was vitally important to the Plains Indians.
