Guitar Painting - Merle Haggard

Tim procurred first class tickets to see Merle Haggard in Butte MT on Feb. 14, 2009. To remember the occasion,
Tim re-painted one of his guitars to show his admiration of one of his all time favorite music artists. Maybe
Merle will sign this great work of art, perhaps more...
Update!
Obviously from the picture, Tim was able to meet Merle and have his guitar signed by a living legend.
Tim got to spend several minutes on Merles bus with him discussing the guitar amongst other things.
After leaving the bus prior to the concert, Tim realized he hadn't had a camera to capture the moment, but
after the concert Merles wife made sure that Tim got a picture to remember the event.
Tim can certainly tell you more of this fantastic tale...

In the times of rustlers and cattlemen the term "Running Iron" referred to a branding iron that was used to forge other brands and steal cattle.
In this case it refers to the fact that Tim can personalize the print and each one becomes it's own original.
The picture is of the print itself and the inlay/remarque shows Tims personal brand.
The prints cost $75 which includes the remarque, or your own personal initials, logo, brand, etc.

Aside from his artwork, Tim also does a lot of work doing custom interior painting, murals, etched glass and mirrors, and custom furniture.

Corps of Discovery
Chess Set
Corps of Discovery chess set depicts Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, Sacagawea, York, Seaman, and others who made this cross country trip between 1804-1806.
The characters are whimsical yet historically accurate. Tim handcarved the entire set in clay then had them cast in resin and hand paints each piece before it is sold.
Tim also makes the crate syle display case which doubles as the chess board.
This project has a limited edition of 25 sets. Each set is $1600 which includes the handcrafted carrying case and chess board.
